Message Templates

A template is a saved subject and body you can reuse instead of writing the same message from scratch every time, useful for welcome messages, class reminders, and payment follow-ups. Templates live in the Templates tab of Messages, alongside your Inbox and Outbox.

Any template can be picked from the Templates button when sending a message or broadcast — it pre-fills the subject and content, which you can still edit before sending.

  • Rich Text — a single rich-text box for the subject and one for the body, with bold, italic, links, lists, and placeholders. Works for both email and SMS. See Create a Template.
  • Email Builder — a visual, drag-and-drop layout made of blocks (text, images, buttons, columns, and more), for a more polished, newsletter-style email. Email-only, it can’t be used for SMS. See Build with the Email Builder.

You choose which one to use when you create the template, and every template keeps that choice.

From the Templates tab you can create, edit, rename, and delete templates. Deleting a template doesn’t affect messages you’ve already sent using it. Past messages keep their own copy of what was actually sent, so editing or deleting a template later never changes something you already sent.
