Create Your School

Setting up a new school in Kanri is a guided process. You request access, Kanri sets up your school and sends you an invitation, and then you complete three steps: accepting the agreements, setting up your payment account, and choosing a plan.

Go to app.kanrimemberships.com/new and sign in or create an account. Fill in your school’s name and a brief description of your school, then submit the form.

The Kanri team will review your request and send you an invitation email to get started.

Click the link in your invitation email. You’ll be taken through a three-step setup.

The first step is reviewing and accepting:

  • Terms of Service
  • Privacy Policy
  • Service Agreement

All three are required. Check each box and click Agree & Continue.

Kanri uses Stripe to process payments and pay out to your bank account. This step walks you through setting up a Stripe account directly inside Kanri. You don’t need an existing Stripe account.

Have the following ready before you start:

  • Your legal name and date of birth
  • Your business name and address (can be a home address for sole proprietors)
  • Your business type (sole proprietor, corporation, non-profit, etc.)
  • Your bank account details for payouts (account number and routing/transit number)
  • Depending on your country and business type, Stripe may also ask for a government-issued ID

Stripe saves your progress, so you can come back if you need to find something.

Once Stripe is set up, you’ll be shown the available plans. Select a plan and complete checkout. Kanri uses Stripe Checkout, so your card details are handled entirely by Stripe.

After payment, you’ll be redirected to your school’s dashboard and can start setting things up.
