Memberships
A membership is the member’s enrolment record.
It answers the question: Which program is this member enrolled in?
This is different from a subscription, which answers: How and when does this member pay?
Understand what a membership includes
Section titled “Understand what a membership includes”A membership can store:
- the program the member is enrolled in
- their current level, if your school uses Levels
- their membership status
- sessions remaining, if you track classes in blocks
- the last promotion date, if your school uses levels
Know how statuses work
Section titled “Know how statuses work”Membership statuses are set by your school. They are not fixed across all schools.
Each status has:
- a name, such as
Active,On Hold, orWithdrawn - an active or inactive setting, which controls how Kanri treats that membership
Important rules
Section titled “Important rules”- A member can only have one membership per program at a time.
- Ending a membership means changing it to an inactive status.
- Memberships and subscriptions are independent. A member can have one without the other.
