Initial Settings

Once your school is created, take a few minutes to set up the essentials before adding members or schedules.

  • Setting your timezone (critical — affects all class times and reports)
  • Configuring tax settings (jurisdiction, rate, included vs on-top)
  • Customising your membership status labels (Active, Inactive + custom)
  • Setting default active/inactive statuses
  • Customising your level name (e.g. “Belt”, “Grade”) if you use a ranking system
  • Uploading your logo and setting your brand colour
  1. Timezone — Settings → General
  2. Tax settings — Settings → General (if you charge tax)
  3. Membership statuses — Settings → Membership Statuses (rename defaults, add extras like “On Hold” or “Trial”)
  4. Level name — Settings → General (only if you use levels/ranks)
  5. Branding — Settings → Branding (logo, brand colour)
